2012年五月廿六日啓智海外校友第二屆聯歡會期間，從世界各地的啓智校友雲集南加州的洛杉磯地區與多年未見面的同窗好友相聚、敘舊，他們也帶來了珍藏多年的老舊照片與好友們分享。林湄湄、旅居於瑞士的72年文科校友、也掃描了這些寶貴的相片，寄給啓智網站，擺上網與同窗及校友們分享。
依照林湄湄自己的解釋：
林湄湄是父母為紀念越南南部的大河『湄公河』而命名的，她的越文名字Lâm Hà Nội 林河女（證件）也是為了紀念父母曾旅居過的地方而命名的。

在畢業典禮那天，學校的傳統是派糖果給低班的小朋友，敦促他們努力求學。相片裡還看到其它班的代表，也來湊熱鬧，觀察派糖果，下次輪到他們時，就會知道如何處理得當了。
